My mission

I envision a world in which each of us lends our unique voice to the greater chorus of life.

As a child I was blessed with the gift of music and song. I followed my passion, by teaching myself piano and guitar, song-leading in my religious community, and devouring every song I could get my hands on. As a teenager I studied voice with Juilliard graduates and I trained in musical theater at the Long Island High School for the Arts. I went on to earn degrees in Classical Vocal Performance from Carnegie Mellon University and the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.

My desire to lead others in prayer and spiritually elevate communities led me on a journey of cantorial study that sent me to the Academy for Jewish Religion, California and the Jewish Theological Seminary.

During and after my studies, I established voice studios in the San Francisco Bay Area, New York and Israel with a special focus on using music, prayer and song as a way to help students connect with their authentic voices. In addition to providing a healthy vocal technique that allows the singer to sing in any style of music they like, I emphasize attuning to the unique vibration within each of us in order to release its beauty and power into the world.

In the process of coaching others, I began to ask myself one of the fundamental questions I posed to my students: “What does my Voice want to sing?” My answer was a new opening into song-writing and composition. To date, my creations have spanned soaring liturgical compositions, love ballads, autobiographic songs, and stirring settings of Psalms. Through my music, I seek to inspire others to courageously connect with their inner self.
